Mastering a Technique or Skill

Mastering one technique can take a one day or a lifetime for others.  Whether it be proper blocking, footwork, hand placement, breathing or sprinting arms it can surely pay tremendous dividends in a game or make a career.  Let's take sprinting arms as an example.  The proper use of sprinting arms can create tremendous momentum or energy.  Depending how you use it you can explode forward or backward, laterally or horizontally, and vertically with so much force or speed, it can be almost unfair for  your opponant.

Mastering one technique an athlete can set themselves a world apart from their competition.  Some athletes can make a career out of being exceptional at one thing.  But of course being exceptional at anything takes hard work and dicipline.  So keep in mind, practice with a purpose... Purposely train for success.
